Change of Mind

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If Kakadu is notified within 48 hours of delivery, Kakadu will cover the cost of any shipping required to or from the original delivery location. Please take photos and/or video of the damage to the carton and/or product as Kakadu may request to see these upon being notified.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as sleeping bags, sleeping mats, gift cards, and sale/clearance items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

 

Warranty

All Kakadu products come with a manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty period differs between products, please see individual packaging for warranty period or contact Kakadu at contact@kakaduusa.com

Kakadu warranty covers manufacturing faults or defects in the original product.  Damage or faults occurring from fair wear and tear, mould, improper use, failure to follow instructions, failure to follow care and maintenance instructions, accidental damage, alterations, severe weather events, insects, animals and acts of God are not covered by warranty.

The first step to get a warranty return under way is to contact Kakadu with your details, a description of the problem and some photos and/or video of the issue. From these details we will be able to advise the next course of action which will usually be to either provide replacement parts or to initiate a return for inspection.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
