No, it features 4 adjustable reclining positions designed for upright sitting through to relaxed lounging, not full flat-lay.

Yes, it folds down compactly and comes with a recycled canvas carry bag, making it easy to transport and store.

Only Camp Chair I have That Reclines

I've started to become more aware of this brand (Kakadu from Australia) and appreciate what they are doing in the outdoor space. This chair is different than the many I own, which is why I like using it for overland trips.

For the most part, you simply take it out of the bag it folds into a sitting position. I am still getting used to the mechanics of it, but it's robustly built, and I can trust plopping 250lbs into it. The reclining feature is easy to use by pulling up slightly on the armrests (harder to sit back up but doable haha).

This chair is a bit on the hefty side, but if you use it for car camping then you are going to love it. It doesn't have any cupholders but it's easy enough to set your beverage on the ground or a side table. Overall, I'm happy and would buy this again.

High quality lawn chair

This is a very nice quality lawn chair. The carrying bag it comes with is made with a thick, high quality canvas. The handles are solid wood and the metal frame is very solid. It was large enough that my husband who is around 220 lbs sat in it with no discomfort. Unlike a lot of lawn chairs the bottom of the chair collapses when you sit in it, this one remains solid and flat and gives you better lower back support. It's comfortable whether you're laying back fully in it or sitting up. It was easy to put it back into the canvas bag with no fiddling required and was light enough to carry around. The only negative is that it didn't come with instructions. So it took me a moment to figure out how to recline the chair (lift the wooden armrests).

Well-made, big-sized and not too heavy

My neighbors recently had their in-laws come stay with them for the summer and they asked to borrow my existing camp/beach chairs. They were cheap ones, so I just gave them away to them. So, I was in the market to get some new chairs and maybe upgrade in terms of quality. This chair is better than I was even aiming for. Here’s what I love about it:
- It’s big. I’m well over 6 feet tall and not skinny and I have room to sit and shift around in this chair.
- It is adjustable with the back moving to multiple positions. You can put it all the way back and just relax or slide it forward for conversation or even watching a soccer game.
- it’s pretty lightweight. It’s not as light as a cheap camp chair from your local big box store, but for the extra couple of pounds, you get so much more comfort.
- It’s made really well. I have had multiple cheap chairs break on me, but I’m not worried about it with this. Joints seem nice and tough, the fabric is thick and it seems like it’s going to last a while.
I can’t find anything that I don’t like about it. And I like the color, too. It’s kind of like something in between flat desert earth and coyote with a little bit of khaki thrown in there. I would definitely highly recommend this chair for comfort, style and quality.

High quality

So far this is one of the sturdiest and compact folding chairs I've had, very well made.
