The oversized canvas carry bag with compression straps makes packing up a breeze. You can even leave the mattress and sleeping bag inside the swag. The canvas bag is not compact, however, and it's designed to throw in the back of your pickup truck or on top of your roof rack.

Awesome sleeping experience

Everything about this swag is high quality. The canvas material, the stitching, heavy duty zippers and screen, comfortable mattress, and the overall design are all top notch. You get aluminum poles and top spreader pole for high strength as well. I love the design as it is extremely versatile in the was you can enter/exit the tent and in how you can open all of the doors or none for ventilation.

I spent a few nights in it (one of them rainy) and I stayed so comfortable and dry inside. It feels very roomy inside (I'm 6'2 215 lbs for comparison,) and I could easily roll around, side sleep, and even sit up fully. I had so much room at my head and feet thanks to the vertical walls, and the Led lighting inside lights up the entire space with adjustable color and light brightness.

Overall, this is now my favorite solo camping setup because of how well I was able to rest. Setup and takedown are simple, but requires some practice because rolling the entire thing up with the mattress inside can be a little tough the first time around.

Because it's a large setup and weighs about 40lbs, it would not be a backpacking setup, but rather an excellent choice for overland trips or truck camping at a campground or in the wilderness.

I will absolutely recommend this setup if that's the type of camping you want to do. You will be extremely satisfied with one of these.

An absolutely excellent solo tent that's built like a tank

I have a Kakadu shower stall that's really been awesome, so when I saw their 1 person swag tent, I had to get it to match my stall. This is by far my favorite tent out of all the numerous ones I have and I can't even complain about how heavy it is because it's that well made and well designed. The exterior materials are very thick, feel very durable and still manage to look nice as well. The bathtub portion of the exterior particularly is just ridiculously thick and robust and I have no doubt it's completely waterproof. The included mattress is surprisingly comfortable and is much more than an afterthought like you'd find on cheaper, competing products. The built-in light is very similar to the one in their shower stall; it can get very dim or quite bright and the color temperature isn't overly harsh, it's actually really nice having the light built-in vs hanging a lantern and I like the convenience. The zippers all feel strong and have given me no issues. The windows are capable of opening quite wide for ventilation and the whole thing makes for a really cozy place to sleep. Setup was fairly straight forward as well but like any tent, can take a good amount of time if you're not familiar with it. The weight is about the only negative with this tent, but it's actually heavy for a reason so I can overlook it. They've also included a carrying bag for the tent, which is a quality piece in it's own right. I came away really impressed and happy with this tent and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others as it's well worth it for the awesome design and high quality of all the components.

Very Well-Built

I ordered this tent for solo camping trips, and it feels like it was designed to be very durable long-term. The canvas is very heavy-duty feeling, and I’ve already tested it in both rain and hot weather without issues. The near-vertical walls make it feel more spacious than I expected for a one-person tent, and it's nice that I can sit up comfortably without feeling cramped. The freestanding design makes setup straightforward, and it feels sturdy once pitched.

What I like most is that it’s more than just a tent — the included foam mattress with a removable flannel cover is far more comfortable than the thin pads I’m used to carrying, and the built-in Lumos LED light strip makes evenings inside a lot more convenient. The Flexi storage system helps keep gear organized, which is a nice touch when space is limited. It’s on the heavier side at nearly 40 pounds, so this isn’t something you’d backpack with, but for car camping or basecamp setups, it works great. Overall, this is a well-thought-out all-season option that balances comfort with rugged build quality.

worth every penny

I was worried about buying without any reviews, but I got it on a warehouse deal so it wasnt full price. I gotta say, this thing is really nice. The materials feel primo. It sets up easy and fits on my teton outfitter xxl cot just perfectly. Setup is a cinch, and it was super comfy to sleep in. I would definitely not want to share this space with any people, but as a big guy I didnt feel too confined, even with my little 30 lb mutt in there with me. My only complaint is the pack size. Its quite large. I have a large sized thule rooftop cargo box and this thing barely fits inside with nothing else. Compression straps helped, but be warned, its big. Overall I do not regret my purchase. I just wish there were spare poles available. I spoke to kakadu customer service and they said they plan to offer them starting next year. We shall see.
